Rehabilitative Services
| Legacy combines the expertise
of several
veterinarians to oversee rehabilitation of lay-up cases, including a chiropractor
and/or acupuncturist when
appropriate. All therapeutic programs are designed after
consultation with the horse's attending veterinarian and our staff of
professionals. Legacy is proud to have played a role in the
rehabilitation of numerous horses over the past several years. We
have had unprecedented success in returning horses to their previous
level of performance. We specialize in the rehabilitation of suspensory injuries. Professional care and monitoring during recovery are overseen by Lola Michelin, a veterinarian technician/animal massage therapist with over 15 years experience in the field.
